Wishing everyone a happy and safe July 4th! Always remember those who gave for our freedom. Now here's to the fishing report.....these last two weeks have been excellent again for the fishing. We've been having some great catches of Taylor bluefish and Spanish mackerel, in the morning and afternoon trips. Last week I had a couple of all day charters where we went deep dropping for the tilefish. We caught our limit of the large tile, the biggest we have caught in a couple of years. Also, had a couple of dolphin while trolling in home. The weather has been beautiful on these trips. Last Friday we had a mixed bag of the amberjacks, a dozen or so of them while we were wreck fishing,in the 25 to 40 pound class. Also had catches of sea bass and trigger fish. So as you can tell, we really did have some great catches with a good mixture of all sorts. Here are some pictures of the tile fish and amberjacks.
